Amina is genuinely suited to Law. Eighty-one on fit is a high score and we are not going to argue with it.
The problem is the other side of the equation. For a third of the money and two fewer years, Clinical Medicine puts her into a market assessed as short of roughly 62,000 people a year — rather than one where about four in five first-sitting candidates fail at the final hurdle, after the fees are already spent.
If she still wants Law, she should walk in knowing this. Not find out in year six.
